Song of the Day: "The Man Who Sold The World" by Nirvana

Welcome to the song of the day, where we feature a single track, whether its brand new or older than us, overlooked or overplayed, our favorite or no one’s favorite; as long as its interesting, it can be the song of the day.

Kurt Cobain committed suicide on April 5, 1994. I was never huge into Nirvana, but I am a fan, especially of the performance on MTV Unplugged. The special was taped in November of 1993 and released the following November, seven months after Cobain’s death. The David Bowie cover was released as a promotional single. The original song was the title track on Bowie’s third album and appeared as the b-side to “Space Oddity.”
