The most recent is with Adam Duritz of Counting Crows as he kicks off his band’s 25th anniversary tour, while last week’s was a discussion with Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes about fame, influences, and the band’s newest album, Passwords.
- Husky-voiced Canadian folk-singer Colter Wall (pictured) has released his first single from his as-yet-unannounced sophomore LP, a cover called “Calgary Round-Up.” The song was originally performed by the father of Canadian country music, Wilf Carter.
- Check out the new music video for John Prine’s “Knockin’ On Your Screen Door,” featuring all his famous friends from the newest generation of Americana music stars like Margo Price, Amanda Shires, Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson, Dave Cobb, Dan Auerbach, and Elizabeth Cook.
