- Consequence of Sound has an interview with James Frost-Winn, a Seattle trumpet player who filed a lawsuit yesterday against Boyd Tinsley, the violinist in the Dave Matthews Band, alleging sexual harassment and assault.
- RS Country has 10 new artists you need to know. I’m into Tenille Towns and Rising Appalachia and am intrigued by a few others on the list.
- Seth Meyers is one of my favorite late night TV hosts, and the fact that he probably has the best taste in music (if musical guests are any indication of something like that) of hosts on TV right now is a bonus. Here’s The Aces (pictured above) performing “Waiting For You” on his show last night. “Waiting For You” is from the Utah band’s debut album, When My Heart Felt Volcanic.
- ABC will be airing a two-hour Michael Jackson documentary next Thursday, May 24. The Last Days of Michael Jackson features interviews he did with Barbara Walters and Diane Sawyer.
