- Father John Misty has announced a follow-up to last year’s Pure Comedy and shared three songs from the upcoming album. God’s Favorite Customer will be out June 1 and will feature the previously heard “Mr. Tillman” and the newly released “Disappointing Diamonds are the Rarest of Them All” and “Just Dumb Enough To Try.”
- Laura Jane Grace (pictured above) of Against Me! teased a solo song called “Park Life Forever.” The song was written for her daughter, Evelyn:
- NPR has a song from a new band called GRLwood, from their upcoming debut Daddy. As Lars Gotrich notes, the song, “Bisexual,” recalls lines from the Ramones “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend” and recontextualizes them.
