“Waitress Song” appears on Stay Gold, the third full-length album by First Aid Kit, the name that Swedish sisters Klara and Johanna Soderberg record and perform under. The group’s first release was an eight-song EP in 2008 called Drunken Trees, and they have since released four LPs and an additional EP. Stay Gold, like it’s predecessor, The Lion’s Roar, was produced by Mike Mogis, who was one of only three permanent members of Bright Eyes and produced almost all of the albums recorded by the Conor Oberst-led band.
