Culture Club lead singer Boy George turns 57 today. The band’s second album, Colour By Numbers, came out in 1983, with “Church of the Poison Mind” as its lead single and “Karma Chameleon” as the second. The song reached number one on both sides of the English-speaking pond and won Best British Single at the 1984 Brit Awards. Culture Club released follow-up albums in 1984 and 1986, eventually reunited for a fifth in 1999 and again this year for an album called Tribes.
