In 2012, twin brothers Jake and Josh Kiszka, along with their younger brother, Sam and drummer Danny Wagner, formed a rock band called Greta Van Fleet. The Michigan band made their official debut last year, first with a four-song EP called Black Smoke Rising before adding a second release, a double EP that incorporated the four previous songs with four new ones, called From the Fires. The album consists of six originals, plus a Sam Cooke cover and a Fairport Convention cover. “Talk on the Street” came with the release of From the Fires. In an interview with Pop Matters, Jake said the song has a catchy fun element to it. The band, whose Zeppelin influence is obvious, is currently on tour.
