New Jersey punk rock band The Gaslight Anthem just kicked off their reunion tour in Washington, DC after nearly five years on hiatus. The tour includes a few scheduled dates, including a night headlining Governor’s Ball in New York. Though there aren’t a ton of shows announced yet, lead singer Brian Fallon tweeted that if there are cities fans are surprised don’t have shows scheduled, those shows will probably be announced soon.
“We Came To Dance” is from the band’s very first album, Sink or Swim, released in 2007. The album didn’t garner a ton of national attention or sell much to move the needle, but it struck the right chord with enough people that their next album, The ’59 Sound, brought them mainstream success and a visit from Bruce Springsteen at Glastonbury.
