Featured album: “Window Flowers” by Liz Cooper & The Stampede

Baltimore-born Nashville-based artist Liz Cooper began her music career in 2012, with bassist Grant Pettyman and drummer Ryan Usher. Together as a trio, Liz Cooper & The Stampede released their debut EP, Monsters, in 2014. After a few more live releases, the band has released their full-length debut, out today, called Window Flowers.

Window Flowers contains a number of songs culled from those previous releases, including “The Night,” “Hey Man,” “Outer Space,” and “Kaleidoscope Eyes.” The album was co-produced by TJ Elias and recorded at Nashville’s Welcome to 1979.

Cooper and her band currently have a run of dates scheduled opening for Houndmouth, followed by a run opening for Phosphorescent, including December 14 at the Theatre of the Living Arts.
