- We’re about halfway through 2018, and Steven Hyden’s Celebration Rock Podcast focused on some of the best rock albums of the first half of the calendar year, while NPR Music listed their 35 favorite songs (including my own favorite, “May Your Kindness Remain” by Courtney Marie Andrews).
- Here’s a weird one: Sheryl Crow has a new song featuring Annie Clark from St. Vincent. It’s called “Wouldn’t Want To Be Like You.”
- I don’t know when exactly this will be widely available, but Deer Tick’s new documentary, Straight Into A Storm, about the first 10 years of the band, is out now, touring in a few select cities.
